Amenities
Botanic Gardens
Establish in the 1850’s by Andrew Sinclair, botanist and contemporary of Charles Darwin, The Pines gardens are one of the few remaining “great gardens” of Auckland. Cuttings from the Pines were sent back to Kew Gardens to establish their South Pacific Collection. Today, after over 150 years of culture and care, they are designated a “special ecological area” and are home to native flora and bird life.
Swimming Pool
Famous for having hosted Queen Elizabeth II on her honeymoon, the 20 metre long diving pool is a favourite for extended families in the warmer months, and for residents’ constitutional cold plunges in winter. A fully equipped kitchen and barbecue area are poolside.
Tennis Court
An all-weather tennis court, with practice wall and storage pagoda. Also home to the largely uncontested Pines pickleball championships.
Gymnasium
A 24/7 fitness space with modern equipment, free weights and runners, away from the judgemental eyes of the lycra set.
Parking, storage and onsite custodians
Dedicated parking spots for every resident, with ample visitor parking, on site custodians to receive couriers and co-ordinate tradespeople, and lockable storage space for every apartment.
